The problem with my MacbookPro Retina may be that the video card is going bad. Portal & Diablo 3 are causing the OS to crash. I made a genius bar appointment.

Hunterbook – learned Bindings of Meditation today.

Did a little professions stuff on my Sith Inquisitor for SWOTR.

While I slept I put Time Machine to backing up the MacBookPro. I got up early cause I wasn’t sleeping well. Played a little World of Warcraft. Basically spend some time on my Monk herbing & mining to level up those skills. Then I went and did her daily monk quest.

Took the MacBook Pro retina in to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store. The fans were at 5000 rpm when they should be around 2000 rpm. They cleaned out a lot of cat hair.

On Book’s Cooking Apprentice Daily today got Chun Tian Spring Rolls. Again. It loves to give em those. Decided to do pet battles tonight. Got Brok in Hyjal. Vordin Steadyfist in Deepholm & Goz Banefury in Twilight Highlands. Got an quality upgrade via capture to my Ash Viper from green to blue. Got a Highlands Skunk of the grey quality, and capture upgrade from green to blue on a Highlands Mouse. My humanoid pet wasn’t high enough level

so I went around panderia capturing wild pets while I leveled him. Caught a white Coral Adder. Captured a white Temple Snake. Then turned around and caught a blue quality Temple Snake. Got a green quality Garden Frog as an add to a fight. Captured a white quality Softshell Snapling. Captured a green quality Zooey Snake. Captured a grey quality Summit Kid & a Alpine Foxling Kit. Captured a whte quality Alpine Foxling. I managed to capture o blue Tolai Hare which will replace my green one. Next I captured a blue Zooey Snake. Tolai Hare Pup got an upgrade from white to green via capture. Caught a green Mongoose Pup in Townlong Steppes for Pandaria Tamer achievement. Finally hit 25 with the Kun-Lai Runt and went back to defeat the last trainer for Taming Cataclysm. Zoning into Stormwind triggered Trainer Extraordinaire.

I got a Nielsen TV survey in the mail which I went online & filled out. They included $10 in the package in cash. WoW.

Went back and finished the Pandaria trainers. Got Taming Panderia & Taming Azeroth achievements. Also the “I Choose You!” achievement.

Shammybook – inscription research. Glyph of Chaining

Hunterbook – leather working research. Crafted Dreadful Gladiator’s Ironskin Gloves. Some AH checking.

Shubook – daily monk quest. AH posting of previous mined ore.

Shepardbook – queued for Pinnacle of Storms LFR. Tabbed out & missed the first queue pop. Queued up again, but went to kill a rare on Isle of Thunder and joined a mage to kill it cause I forgot I was queued until we had the guy dead. >.< Then sat in Queue for 28 minutes without a pop… Got my farming done. Planted more Songbell Seeds. After about 20 min on 2nd try got a pop. Got nothing but Gold even with lucky coin rolls. Did Terrace of Endless Spring. Got Watersoul Signet, Belt of Embodied Terror, & the tier token for my headpiece.

Guy came from Chesapeake Gas to fix my gas for my heat.

When you gotta try to move on

So this week in the middle of me moving again for work, my guild decided to cease raiding activities. It’s been slowly approaching for a while it seems. We went from a 25 man force in Cata raiding heroic modes (though we were struggling to maintain that) down to a 10 man team struggling to down normal modes. This is a guild that’s been around since Vanilla WoW. I honestly haven’t played my level 90 alts this week because of this (well and the move as well). So I’m doing a lot of moving both physically and mentally. My real choices in my mind was between:

1. A 25 person raid guild where I know several people and have raided with several before, but their raider applications was closed so I’d have to join as community and await raid slots opening.

2. My second feasible option (at least in my mind) was a guild I had been in previously and left at the end of Wrath. I’ve alt raided with them off and on, they like to be 25-man semi casual, but the amount of fail in the current 25 man raids I’ve been in is overwhelming (I’ve healed for them on nights I didn’t have raids or anything). They only seem to get progress to happen when they drop down to 10 man. Plus while I could get close to getting into the 10 mans, but they would probably give priority to their older team members until I had been there a while.

I think I know where I’m going, but I’m still don’t know where is totally right just now.

Saturday night is alright for fighting

Saturday night is my Skype night with my RL friends now that we are scattered more across the US. We frequently do things in WoW as well. I was in a leveling mood so I suggested brand new alts on a new server. My friend Ashnew stated she’d never picked Horde side on a Panda to see how the joining that faction story went. So we went over to Trollbane to roll level 1 panda. I had a cute little hunter. Ashnew decided she’d try a mage (yes the warrior was going to try to pew, pew). Bluemoon made a monk (on ER she has one in her upper 80′s). We got through the Wandering Isle and introduced ourselves to Garrosh. The words from Ashnew was “he’s a dick.” I totally agree. Anyway it was fun hanging out with them.

Rogue’s Gallery Updated

I’m getting the urge to update about my World of Warcraft characters… Aka Book and the Library. I’ve done this quite a few times before.

First up is Book. You may notice if you go back through the old posts that she looks quite different now. She sort of got a big bonk on the head when she first arrived in Panderia and woke up looking like the locals. Since it helped her to blend in she left it be. Still specialized in Assassination with a minor in Combat.

Tatianaseray is now level 51. Fury & Prot. Still have a hard time leveling her though.

Bookocurses also looks a bit differently from my last post. She’s 86 now and a worgen. In Cataclysm all we needed was a worgen warlock to finish the guild achievement of all available races & classes at max level & honored with the guild. I had the level & rep so I paid for a race change. She’s going back Destro though with the changes to warlocks.

Bankbook resides at level 4 with major AH addons.

Booktrey now level 72. Hopefully before much longer I will have her leveled more. With the bonus XP from all her heirlooms. I’m leveling her as Prot same as Holy.

Shepardbook is up to level 90. She’s Disc/Shadow at the moment. Though I still dislike Shadow. I’ve got her up to Throne of Thunder LFR level gear. I’m going to really hate giving up that staff. It makes my Shadowfiend/Mindbender a tiny little Sha. I love it!!!!

Naturebook is also up to level 90. She’s my second best geared character so she’s kinda my second main. She’s mainspec’d Resto with a boomer offspec.

Badbook is still 85. She was my 2nd level 80 & 2nd to level 85. Still Blood/Unholy. I need to make time to level her.

Holybook is now up to level 90. She’s my third best geared character kinda my 3rd main She’s mainspec Holy with a Protection off-spec.

Shiftybook is now up to level 39. I never seem to have time to play her as well.

Shubook is new to this gallery. She’s my windwalker monk. Up to level 53 cause monks are so easy to level with the Enlightenment XP bonus.

Hunterbook is now up to level 85. Still Beastmastery.

Magebook is now up to 40. She’s Fire now. Still having problems leveling her despite my RNG pick which alt to work on seems to pick her alot.

Shammybook is now level 80. Still Elemental/Resto.

LFR Shenanigans

The Halls of Flesh-Shaping branch of the Throne of Thunder raid finder opened today. All I can say was OMG!!!!! It was kinda difficult. First boss I heard average was around 9 wipes before it could be defeated. Crazy. So I got this photo on Primordius while we were waiting on a tank. It’s a line of Mr. Smite from the trinket. (If you don’t remember Mr. Smite you may not have done the original Deadmines).

In fact I just have to share “Welcome to the Deadmines”

Too many LFRs to do

Too many LFRs to do!!!! Last night with some lucky drops and some number finagling I got my priestess Shepardbook to an item level of 480. That means this evening’s task is the new Throne of Thunder LFR. That means FOUR!!! characters to run the new Throne of Thunder LFRs on. Three of them are Healers. Alts are getting time consuming to maintain them all. Holybook & Shepard still need things from the whole gauntlets of LFRs so they get the most time devotion currently. I need to update the Rogue’s Gallery. Hopefully that is coming soon.
