Interesting that AT&T is buying out Cricket wireless. Kinda hate that the choices in cell phones are dwindling instead of expanding.

As part of the deal, AT&T will be acquiring all of Leap’s towers, stores, and all 5.3 million of their subscribers. If the deal goes through, this will bump AT&T from 107 million subscribers to 112 — still just behind Verizon in the battle for the biggest US carrier. AT&T says that they plan to pay $15 dollars per share. With 79 million Leap shares outstanding, this works out to just short of $1.2B. Developing…

Feedspot, the online RSS reader which jumped into action last summer following the removal of social features from Google Reader, is again stepping up to the plate in the wake of the Google Reader demise. The startup, now with another year of development work under its belt, not only offers a solid Google Reader replacement for the desktop, it’s also one of the few to include the ability to search within your RSS feeds.

Graph of classes in slots. I must say with the groups I play with we have plenty of Tanks & Healers but some tanks have to go DPS in Naxx. Although the Gnome Mage always wants to tank :D. I need to joke that I want to heal. Hey I have Goblin Jumper Cables…… Link

No More Free Jott For You
Oh, no. Apparently according to TechCrunch, Jott will go totally paid after Feb 2. Now I’ve really enjoyed Jott, but I have been slowly using it less & less since they rolled out thier paid version. Granted I have the iPhone app. But the service is going to paid only because they cannot get enough revenue in advertisements. This probably means I will quit using the service altogether. Unless I go to the Pay As You Go plan.
Yes, I know there is nothing currently on the Jott blog about this but TechCrunch has a current policy to break every press embargo that it recieves and deems newsworthy.
